Hello all.

Unlike most of you lucky people on this forum, I don't own a Raptor yet. The reason why I joined was to find out more about what I believe is an incredible truck. I have toying with the idea of getting a good off-roader for years. Now with the Raptor available where I live, it seems like a match made in heaven. Currently, there is only the 5.4L version available but think they will start bring in the 6.2L soon. So I'm still waiting.

I have tons of questions I want to ask and hope you guys can help me out. Unfortunately, I live in place where cars cost at least 120% or more than in the US. So this will be a substantial investmet for me.

Cheers and Happy Off-Roading

Hi Raptizzle. I currently reside in Southern China in a city called Shenzhen. Its just north of Hong Kong. I'm orginally from Upstate New York, but now regularly visit San Diego when I'm back in the States.

Question: Do I post my threads based on the current forum topics or do I open a new forum for what ever my topic is?

Sorry. I'm a bit new to this forum thing too.

WELCOME!
You've come to the right place for answers. I see you live in China and San Diego. Yeah that's a long ways.

Welcome! BTW, there are a lot of us on here who are either researching the trucks (like yourself) or have one on order (like me).

I noticed your screen name. What is the significance of "Slick67"? Do you have a 1967 muscle car or custom of some sort?

No worries man... If you have a topic that you don't see an existing thread for, just go ahead and start a new thread with your topic/question.

That would be glamorous. But no, Slick is a nickname I got in college for whatever reason. 67 is the year of my first car. It was a Plymouth Valiant. LOL

Hey, at least there's a good story tied to it. My parents had a mid 60's Valiant before I was born. It threw a rod and it got parked on the side of their house. They would fire it up during parties to add to the ambiance.
