Invoice is a good deal. Buy it and drive for a year and still sell it for the same price you paid if not more.

You think they'll hold there value that well a year from now? I'm sure a 2016 Raptor will be announced or at least a lot of information leaked.

Yeah if you push that clutch to the floor it's a mile back up before it engages for sure. Being on the street is where I like the car the best, most people go from a roll anyway now and that's where it really shines. I will concede though that it is nice to just be able to run stuff over sometimes and not have watch out for every bump/hole trying to damage your ride.

I wish I could swing both. Right now it's probably going to be 14 GT500 and 14 Escape or 14 Raptor and 15 GT next spring. Either combo is going to cost me about the same.

YES. I have own a lot of cars and I would say the BMW M cars have the worst depreciation while the best is absolutely the Raptor.

Also remember, you are getting it at invoice. MSRP on your truck is well over 4K above invoice.

So yes, you can easily sell it one year from now at what you paid or even more.

I don't think Ford will bring back the Raptor in 2016. I say 2017. Just my opinion.

I got $1000 less than I paid for trade in on a 13' with 15,000 miles about 6 months ago and my dad is in process of switching his 13' with 18,000miles out for a 14' because the dealer is giving him 50k trade on a truck he gave around 51k for a year and a half ago. So yes they do hold their value quite well.

Also I am sorry I had read it as you had an Escalade not an Escape. I would not give up a GT500 and Escalade for a Raptor but I would probably do just about anything not to drive an Escape. So enjoy your new Raptor.

That price seems low to me. I am not an expert at reading dealer stickers, but it has beadlocks. Looks like a really good deal. Almost too good. Where is this? MPG 13, all city for me. Amazing truck but the mods make it even better. It is an addiction. If that is a loaded(looks like it). Buy it for sure. They hold their value fantastically. Not so much the mods so beware there. I am in so deep I will never sell. :)

Jalopnik ran an article a while back on the top 10 vehicles that have held their value. I own two of them: the Raptor and my G8.

My truck is worth more than what I paid for. I got below invoice. For you to get invoice today is pretty outstanding. Especially if it's something you want and aren't settling.

Besides, if you don't, someone else here will and flip it.

Good points. I'm going to decide next week.

I just paid MSRP for a 2014 SE SCrew and although it was the first car I have ever bought higher than invoice, I was happy to do so. Every dealer is holding firm at a min of $3000 over MSRP. So if you found one for invoice, run, don't walk to that dealer no matter how loaded it is.
