Sweet, glad to hear. I'm in AZ next week and I'm planning on stoping by this shop and talking to them and maybe getting a ride in one of their trucks with these springs. I'll report back on what i find out.

I just don't see spending $5000 for 1/2 bigger in shocks...I think most people say the 3.0s are great because they'd feel stupid saying they don't for spending $5000...lol

Ok, so I just went and talked to the dude at UTV about these springs. Great guy, straight shooter, no BS. He said he loved them. He said one of the best benefits were the rebound, and how the new progressive springs would not "pop-go" on bumps. He said on and off-road was smooth. That it would slowly and controllably rebound back up, not bounce back up and down a few times after a bump/jump, like the stock springs.

He just recently took them off for 3.0s and if he's honest, doesn't like the ride as much as he did with his stock shocks and springs. If he had to do it all over again, he'd go back to his springs and the stock shocks. Said the 3.0s are too rough of a ride....and thats for both major Raptor 3.0 upgrades. (I'm keeping the 3.0 names out of it).

So as I suspected, and I'm sure anyone with 3.0s will disagree, but of course you have to fall in love with the 3.0s, you paid $5000...lol.

So short story, I will be getting these springs very soon. He also said if I don't like them, just return them, he's that confident in his springs for these trucks.

Here's a question to ask them:
Would UTC recommend, for or against, any particular rear spring? Aftermarket standard or +2-3. Or maybe progressive leaf pack?

I don't think he would, because they really only did three parts for the Raptor, otherwise, they are all UTV stuff. I know I love my new leafs and would recommend making the change.

I know there are some pics of mid and top perch with these springs, not sure if they did one on bottom perch.

I think the two set-up's (progressive springs vs 3.0's) are a strange comparison. If you're looking for a more compliant street ride while achieving a raise in front ride height, then the progressive springs sound like a perfect choice.
However, if you're looking for off-performance, then 3.0's are significantly more capable than the OEM coilover, albeit at the expense of on road comfort.

If you want both... you need more travel and money.

Just my 02 cents.
