Probably the biggest rebuild in Raptor history.

so you have $40k into it, and $35k of that was repairs, so you bought it from the guy for $5k totaled.....but he never went through insurance at all since the truck was never salvage titled?

Did he just assume insurance would laugh at him and not cover anything since it was an accident offroading, that he took the ~45k loss on his truck right in the pocket by not going through insurance for anything?

I can see them not covering you hurtling your truck off a launch ramp like a space rocket especially when well documented all over the internet lol. But hey sometimes insurance will cover some odd stuff.

It is cool seeing vehicles brought back that were assumed toast. Back in 2013 I was at the track and a guy I know did a massive wheelie in his 2013 Cobra Jet, came down crooked, he went right into the wall, spun around, back end hit the other wall. Car was accordianed. Everyone assumed that the rare, 1 of only 50 made for 2013, was a goner. Well he took it back to Watsons Racing (the company that builds the CJs) and for about $50k had it restored back to good as new and saved it!

When you have money sometimes is cheaper to throw 50k away, unless you never plan on haveing fun again.
