I guess it depends on what you want to do with the truck. If your primary goal is off-road use, your money is better spent on suspension upgrades. If it is fun on the street, more power almost always equals more fun.

Seems like I'm the odd one out, but my 575 VelociRaptor build (with the Roush blower - even has their name on it) has been great. Sent the truck down to Texas for the install, and haven't had a problem. I've run it towing stuff / jumping and doing donuts offroad, and it's been a champ.

Having actually owned one, I'd say go with Hennessey.

I love, love, love my 2.9L Whipple installed and tuned by Livernois. The I-1 Procharger variable ratio supercharger is a forced induction game changer. My recommendation to you would be to find the most reputable tuner first then begin talking to them about which supercharger is right for you and your truck. Crazy power is great, but safe crazy power is even better. Nobody wants to blow an engine or burn up a truck.

I like the idea of the I-1 and Procharger in general but something about compressing air into the stock plastic intake manifold doesn't sound right to me. Whipple is looking better and better to me. Just my opinion.
