Looks like they fogot to install the lights on some trucks then. Or else Ford just shipped them out knowing they could just get fixed later on. They were already having to cancel orders because of the back order on the BL’s and CF. Either way, seems to be an issue.

I have what I think is on order from Ford, should be here tues/wed...will see what it looks like...I didn't take my shifter apart but mine doesn't light up so I assume it isn't there.

PS...from what I can tell - this is supposed to be in 802A and 801A Raptors (comparing my vin 801A and different 802A trim package)...I didn't compare the stock 800A. so if this light isn't in there Ford dun goofed.

$15...I just ordered it. time to schedule something and explain that a part exists on the as-built sheet but doesn't exist on the truck, but the others on the lot don't light up either, then waiting for them to schedule it, whatever, my sanity is worth it, ***Assuming this is the part number****

now if this isn't I will bitch more and see what needs to be done but when it takes 2 weeks for the local dealership to figure out what Ford rear diff cover to buy (when I give them the pn# and my amex and say here...go...do)...and still no reply back...I will just figure out stuff on my own. Which I ordered the rear diff cover already, took 2 days and that is my weekend project tomorrow along with the factory door harnesses to make the power fold option work - which I found doesn't have the correct wires even installed in the 801A (missing).

No lights here either ... I'll be checking this out over the weekend to see if it's simply a disconnected wire or something more. Thanks to those who posted for making us all aware of this possible issue.

OK, so today I stopped by a southern California dealer that has 8 Raptors on the lot, all SCREWs with 802A and tech package. None of them had lighted PRNDM letters on the console.

I am having trouble believing that this is an accident. Did Ford make a change? Could this be tied to a production date, maybe lights before this date and no lights after? Are we sure these vehicles are supposed to have these letters lighted? Has anyone gotten an answer from Ford?

On my truck I had noted that the letters were not lighted the first night I owned it, but until I saw this thread I just assumed they were not supposed to be lighted. Since the display on the dash shows you the gear, and I typically don't look down while shifting, I did not give those console indicators a second thought.
