Just took delivery on a 2019 Raptor and I'm stoked to officially join the club. After spending a few months scouring the internet, I finally found what I was looking for at the right price but had to go out of state to do it. This black beauty has 108k miles and appears to have lived a rather sedate, garage-kept life in rural MN with mostly highway miles and occasional Starbucks runs.
A few winters of salty roads were a concern and the undercarriage does show some surface rust, but nothing significant and I can't see it when I drive anyway. The folks at the dealership were awesome to work with (shout out to Cornerstone Ford in Elk River, MN) and even put it up on a lift and did a thorough video walkthrough plus sent a ton of close-up photos all around before I purchased it.
Gen 2 feels like the sweet spot for fun/price ratio right now. I paid $36.5k including shipping, the transporter had a brand new Shelter Green 37pp loaded up next to mine with a window sticker showing $93,995. I bet that truck is a lot of fun though, nothing but respect to those who can swing it but I'm really happy with what I've got and I can still afford to buy eggs by the dozen instead of individually.
The required photographic evidence is below along with proof of the Prius delete mod this truck came with. #lifeupgrade
Speaking of mods, it's well-appointed with the 802A + Technology + Carbon Fiber package and forged factory wheels, plus the previous owner added a full set of BD fog lamps and a CAI kit (S&B, I think). I'll probably look into doing a shock rebuild and a full change of fluids throughout but otherwise I plan to just drive this sucker and have a blast doing so. Yeeeewww!!
