Can anyone confirm if your ordered price is protected once order is placed or do you need a VIN befofe you are protected from the increases announced?

If you have a signed contract by you and the dealer you should be good. However, we all hold our breath until we take delivery. If your dealer tries to pass it on push back and show the signed contract.

Word is if your order was accepted prior to deadline your locked in from Ford and the dealer has an accounting adjustment instruction. Some of these shady ADM dealers, who knows...

True. All I have is the build sheet and at the bottom they circled purchase price and had me write my name address and date and put how much deposit was made. They didn’t sign it themselves so …

That order/buyer sheet isn't a real contract for purchasing a vehicle, it's mainly for ordering. That sheet doesn't specify that this is the price you are going to pay. If they have submitted your build to ford before the deadline, you should be good. I received a email from Ford that your order has been accepted. If you didn't get that email... either the dealership is lazy that they didn't include your email or didn't submit your order. One way you can check is by contacting Ford Performance and giving them your sales and order number from that buyers sheet to see if they submitted order.

The official Ford bulletin is pretty clear that price protection is in place for retail orders signed, dated, and received by FOMOCO by a certain date. And I would raise hell if they didn’t comply.

However it’s unclear what happens with stock orders, or if your order isn’t picked up this model year and would need to be resubmitted.

Agreed . Mine is little different. They ordered back in November. I found they had this build in the system and building soon so I took over it. So it’s in . Has priority 01 code. I’ve also chatted with ford a bit on it. Only thing I have to pray is they don’t try and screw me when it finally arrives I guess.
