Good luck...
Picked up my Raptor last Thursday and they tried to screw me over and convoluted the price of the vehicle.
Even though I had my order agreement listing all the details.
On the day of purchase/pickup:
- The first line item on the purchase agreement was Vehicle Market Value: $100k
- Second line item, Vehicle Discounted Price: $84, ***
On that second item, the $84k was the agreed upon price after fees and taxes when I signed the order agreement.
The dealer tried to price the vehicle at $84K plus fees and taxes!!! Effin crooks!!!
I had to show them the order agreement and argue for what seemed for hours.
Then as they realized they were losing, they come out and say I have to pay $5k ADM... that they cannot sell the vehicle at MSRP no matter what.
I SAID NO!!
The other agreement does not list a $5k ADM thus I pay what the order agreement states. The order agreement was signed by a sales manager, so you guys agreed to the conditions.
They then tried to argue they can't sell the vehicle at MSRP because I could turn around and sell it for $20k profit the next day. Sigh
Long story short (6 hours later and a conversation with the general manager), the dealer made me pay the 2022 price instead of the 2021 price I was fighting for. And no ADM.
Moral of the story.... that price protection is worthless.
Pay attention to the numbers... they will convolute the shit out of the numbers hoping to confuse you.
Stay firm.... even though you don't have the upper hand. The dealer wants you to walk away as they can sell the truck for $20k ADM.
During my 6 hour debacle, like 10 people wanted to buy my truck at any price...
I dislike people who are impatient and willing to pay obscene amounts over MSRP because they are whiney spoiled little ******* that haven't developed the skill of patience... Thank them for this BS ADMs...
