Price Increase on 2022 Raptor

Seems like ford wants to take some of that after market adjustment
Funny they removed Bluecruise for $1395 and then jacked the price $3,300 while other models where just $1,500. Even F-250's where only $1,000. Something Fishy! I wonder what kind of price increase in fall?

I don't care for the ADM, however I understand it to some level. Dealers have expenses, payrolls etc and they don't have the inventory to maintain their margins.

Everyone has a different value for everything we purchase. I'm very blessed that I can afford to purchase one with or without an ADM, however I don't value a Raptor at or above MSRP. It would be a Want for me not a Need. If I had a need I would probably have a different opinion. No worries here as with the price increase and ADMs Ford has priced me out of their market. Every manufacture has target number of lost sales for price increases (unit fall off). I fall into that category.

I think, given the prices of other F150 trims, the Raptor has been a good deal and it still is, even with the +3k. The ADMs and the low production volumes are the problem. I have never understood, why they won't just produce way more Raptors, if the demand is obviously there and (at least in the old days) so many other F150 trims have been sitting on dealer lots..

After the $3,300 price increase a base 800a 2022 Raptor will MSRP for $70,370 with the destination fee. That price is before checking a single option box.

Limited production helps with exclusivity and resale values. I also heard a rumor that the composite hood/fender supplier can only produce a limited number of parts.

Before Covid and supply chain problems Raptor production was only 80 units per shift.

A few years ago, before Covid and supply chain problems, Raptor production was only 80 units per shift.
Interesting…Raptors were plentiful in 2019 and 2020, at least in my area. When I was looking in Feb 2020, 2 of the 3 dealers I inquired with gave invoice offers on in stock Raptors or if I wanted to order without a lot of effort. Only Covid lockdowns stopped me from going through with one to preserve cash in my business. In hindsight should have jumped on it. Guess you win some and lose some.

Same here. I found a brand new 800a SuperCab that I could have purchased for $49,800. I decided to pass☹️

I was wondering if composite body parts caused they higher price increase than regular trucks. I got 18 for 65k 6k off and had my pick of colors.

I priced out an XLT how I wanted it, maybe with the Tremor pkg I cannot remember. But either way, it was right at or close to 60k. One of the reason's I bought a Raptor is because it seemed like such a good deal. I think the problem on an XLT, is you would never pay MSRP pre covid. 10k off at minimum and I got 15000 off of one not too long ago. Raptors have always sold for pretty close to MSRP, so makes it a better deal in this market.

I can’t wait for all the ADM haters to read it. Dealerships will still charge ADM’s! With all the free money and increases in minimum wages prices will not go down! Some people went from $7.25 per hour to $20, but now the 20 doesn’t buy as much as 7.25 and it’s only been one year…Let’s go Brandon!
Pretty soon 100k a year will be minimum wage and we will all be in the lower class

Aren’t Raptors always a “want” purchase though? If utility was really your concern, most other 1500/2500+ trucks would make a whole lot more sense…
