I tried 87 when i first got the truck when the weather was cooler and i wanted to see how big of a difference there was. I saw in the owners manual to use 93 in hot weather so i switched when it got warm and the difference was pretty noticeable. I will stick to 93 from now on

The thing I notice quite a bit when I rarely run a tank of 87 (usually when I purge my 30 gallons of summer time hurricane gas) is the transmission does a lot of gear hunting and seems more confused. I imagine it’s because it upshifts too quickly and there isn’t enough power, so it bogs down and down shifts again. My father in law and friends with the standard eco boost note the same behavior and now only run 93.

I run 91 non-ethanol. It the highest octane you can get in this area. Plenty of pep and 20 mpg ain't bad...

I run 87 in all my EB vehicles.

I see no need to pay 25% more to move my sack of bones and meat around.

same, unless you are running it hard, doesnt make sense for 90 percent of driving.

I’d probably run 87 in a non-R Raptor…especially with an extended warranty.
