Has anyone had any electrical issues with his/her transfer case after driving through a rain storm? I had some notifications on the console show up some time after driving through decent dump of water on the highway.
I arrived at my destination about 20 minutes after I drove through the "big puddles." I parked for around 15 minutes and then the first error popped up 5 minutes down the road. The first error was a picture of a battery with an error code I don't recall. I lost power for a second, but was able to get through the intersection and then power resumed.
The second error code was for the 4x4 (see attached). The truck kicked me out of 4A and sent the accompanying error to my phone. I called the dealer who had me put the truck into 4H, which didn't cause any problems, so we figured it was just some type of glitch. A few hours later, I was kicked out of 4A again with the same codes.
The dealer claims it is an electrical issue with the transfer case. They haven't been able to get the part, so he's getting me a new transfer case from Ford. I'm just curious if anyone else has had a similar issue.
