Do you keep it on when you go off-trail? And have you have any issues?

I turn the bottle off until I go to use it, if that's what you are asking. I don't drive around town with my off road gear in the bed, (that's why @John M BUNMAN has more street cred than me at Starbucks). I have the tank mounted in place off road and have not had any issues.
