So I am not sure if I am just noticing this more and it’s always been there or this is a new issue, but I have a high frequency “vibration” in my steering wheel when I turn the wheel. Specifically around 25-75 mph. The “turn” is literally just enough to get off center. I don’t get his vibration/hum at low speeds. There is no real sound (like a bad power steering pump, but it almost feels like a bearing is going ….but only when the tires are loaded off of dead center. In a long sweeping turn at 65 mph, I can “feel” the high frequency vibration “cycle” like it’s an eccentric load cycling “low to high” but not cycling “off and on”, meaning it doesn’t go away, just changes “frequency”.
Anyone have experience with something like this? Note, the last oil change/tire rotation I didn’t feel any “slop” or looseness like a bad wheel bearing. I do have Stage 3 Motorsports wheel spaces on all 4 corners which are about 2 years old (probably 10,000 miles in use)
Thoughts ?
