Mirror glass took only 5 minutes to replace. It is heated as well. Didn't know that. I paid 68 from ford for it. Dealer had in stock.

I've done the research on this... From what I understand is you can buy 2 power fold mirrors (OEM or replicas) and simply swap your shell and they will plug right in. I know for fact 2010's have the wire for the puddle lights and if memory servers me, they have a full harness in the door... Just the mirror doesn't have the wires, so "should" be plug and play. Only thing left is just swap out the mirror switch to one with power fold and you're gold.

$350ish, maybe little less.

I'm thinking about doing this mod to my 2010 to help with city life. Parking spots are narrow in the city as well as some drive thrus. So power folding mirrors would really help.

I am interested in this mod as well. There are oem mirrors available on ebay and aftermarket ones too, along with the power fold selector switch and relay needed. Given the extra width of the truck, this is a super good mod to add to the forum if anyone has any experience working through it.

I just purchased the power fold aftermarket mirrors from ebay with the selector switch for $405, free shipping. I'll keep everyone informed as to how the install went and take some pics along the way.

You can do it. You need the mirrors and a new switch and it will be plug and play. You can also swap in power tow mirrors from a 2013 f150 with power tow mirrors.

I just did this and look for a how to on this coming shortly as the weather is warming up.
