WOW guys I am very grateful for the responses and its really helped.

I think I would be happy paying around the 30 -33 mark for it. Also I can't be sure but it may of been smoked in. I have had it for test drive this weekend and noticed the smell this morning.

Ding it I will be handing those keys back tomorrow.

So I researched more about the price and indeed the smell and found out the car can be treated with ozone to clear the smoke smell.

But I may of screwed up with the deal, I offer 3k less than the asking price which kind of annoyed the sales manager. I quote " thank you for the opportunity of your business, but you offer is ridiculous and we cannot work with you". I did respond with its ridiculous a raptor has been on your forecourt for 4 months and maybe they need to review the price.

Anyway looks like its back to the drawing board....

$3k less than asking price isn't much. The fact that they didn't try and haggle you seems weird too.

well that dealer sounds like an a$$hole. a $3k below offer on that price is not crazy. you are better off. i wouldnt buy that anyway, even at a lower price. keep looking. you can find better deals out there for sure.

Sounds like a dealer I'd have nothing to do with.

I bought my loaded 13 SCAB for 46K. You could certainly get a "bare bones" one for around 40K. I really think the 801A package is worth the 4K though. Good luck in your search and decision.
