Hey Blukrom, I just called Bill. He didnt have an update but I did get my order number. Called SVT myself and I have a build week of Dec 19th.. You should give them a call if you havent heard anything yet...

there is a difference between your order number an vin i know the vin is different but is the order number ready before the vin??? should i be able to just get a hold of that prior to a vin number??

I did and got nowhere with them. "Call your dealer" was all I got. Called the dealer and told them that this is week 13 with no vin and I was going to cancell the order. NOW he's checking with his regional rep. Going shopping for a new Dodge on my days off this week. Sick of this ******* shit. I can get one on E-bay, or the link posted today (far a good price) but I can't get an order pulled. **** this shit.

wait, you got a build week, yet don't have a VIN# yet?

I did and got nowhere with them. "Call your dealer" was all I got. Called the dealer and told them that this is week 13 with no vin and I was going to cancell the order. In all fairness, it hasn't been 13 weeks, it's only been 3, and all of us on here knew well ahead of time that the first two weeks were for OT2 quality control runs. So in actuality while the wait has seemed like forever, the first 10 weeks was on you ordering a 12 rather than an 11, and it's only been the last 3 weeks that the wait was on ford, 2 of those we knew about anyway.

Even as anxious as I am having waited since Aug 26th, I can really only gripe about the 1, going on 2 week wait of production without getting my VIN # yet.

heres what i say if you can get the exact same order from a dealer lot that has it an get the same deal i dont blame you for wanting that i mean if theres no difference from what you ordered who can blame you

I'm a FIRST DAY order! FIRST HOUR order! FIRST MINUTE order! I'm as anxious as you can imagine to get mine, but at the same time, I'm still keeping it in perspective. I'm not going to gripe about about being in my 14th week since I placed my order, because I knew the first 10 of those were before production even started. And I'm not going to gripe about the 11-12th week either since I knew they were OT2 builds only for QA. I will gripe about the 13-14th and so-on! If there were a material hold or something I would understand, but to keep putting OT2 orders when OT1 guys have been waiting for 13-14 weeks now is bull.

But again back to putting it back into perspective, while seeing 2012's pop up on ebay and at dealers is aggrivating not even having a VIN# yet, where did you really think those 2012's built during the first 2 weeks were going to end up? lol Of course they're out there and up for sale. Thats what OT2 orders are, for dealer stock. Some had their dealer stock sold right after the orders were placed, but others were ordered as dealer stock and no buyers yet, so they're popping up now.

I wish I could find a 2012 with the same options and all that locally, but I'm not going to settle at this point. I'm ordering a $50k+ truck exactly as I want it because I'm paying good money and I've waited a long time. Even though at this point I really just want my friggin truck, I'm not going to let another week or two deter me completely, or make me jump on something I didn't exactly want just to get it now. The wait is painful, but compared to me planning on keeping this truck for the next 5-10 years and driving it every single day, another week or two to get exactly what I want really is a drop in the bucket in comparison.

They said no Vin yet, but yeah he said the build week and that I should see it first week of Jan. You just need the Dealer code.

Yeah No Vin, just my Order number from the dealer and dealer code.. the guy was really cool and looked it up. Told me the build week but the vin hasnt been pulled yet.
