Production isn't going to start on the F150's until October, and they are being told that the Raptors will be built AFTER that. They are thinking it will be after the first of the year before they start hitting the lots.

How reliable is 'your guy?' Is he just some random dealer or an reliable source?

actually yes the 2017 would be a Gen 3

well then you might have better luck in the Gen 3 forum.

My dealer is one of those no-******** places. Like I said earlier, they are pretty familiar with "Special" vehicles. The actual owner is a real car guy, and he runs his dealerships reflecting that. The General Manager at this dealership and I are pretty good friends and I have bought 14 cars/trucks from this guy in the last 7 years, so he knows that I don't need the runaround.

To be fair though, they are only getting their information from the guys giving it out of Detroit, but he knows not jerk me around. I've already told him that I'm not buying a Gen2 this year, so no hard sell tactics are even necessary.

If they will not show up until 17, lots of folks will be dropping from the "gotta have it first list" as I imagine many who are wanting it "first" are really simply wanting it on this year's deduction list.

I think most would not have a problem with that but whats with Mike Levine feeding us all this info. Ford needs to get on the same page.

If you look at page 3 of the 802a luxery package moonroof thread you will see a guy who got a price in Canadian dollars. Converted its $69K he got everything except hood graphics

Negative Ghostrider. I assume you think the raptor with 5.4 is Gen 1 and 6.2 Gen 2. That's not accurate. a new engine in the same body and fram doesn't mean a new Gen. also the dimensions for the new raptor are almost the exact same.
