Possible stupid question

Just filled up and miles to empty was 400 miles. That's more like it. I guess it just took a little while to reset.

Does anybody know how long it takes for the miles to empty to reset after replacing the battery? It's been two months and still giving me a reading of over 500 miles to empty when I fill up. Just wondering thanks.

A little late now, but the mechanic that works for us plugged in a battery memory saver into the obd port on my truck when he changed the battery for me. Presets, clock, all still there. Next time, maybe.

All of my presets, clock, seat memory all were saved. Seems like the only thing that reset, was miles to empty. Even my average MPG stayed the same.
