Does sound like injectors clacking.. But worth a shot to swap to 5/30 on next oil change and see if any of the sound is from the valvetrain ..

I’ll try that one out next. I appreciate the help man! I’ll update you when I snag that and throw it in.Perhaps a stronger cleaner is needed, such as sea foam. Worth a shot at $7 at Walmart. Worst that can happen is you get better fuel mileage and a cleaner engine and fuel system.
Yeah I am running 5/20 right now, was planning to switch to 5/30 for the next change. Worth it to check out.Does sound like injectors clacking.. But worth a shot to swap to 5/30 on next oil change and see if any of the sound is from the valvetrain ..
Was there a solution ever figured out? I am experiencing similar noises and unsure of what it may be! I already run 5w-30, but am going to grab a can of Lucas now!Yeah I am running 5/20 right now, was planning to switch to 5/30 for the next change. Worth it to check out.
Nope, just noisy injectors. I tried Lucas/sea foam and changing to 5w-30 but they’re still clacking away. I might toss in another Lucas here soon to see if they quiet down anymore. Sounds like they’re a little louder now.Was there a solution ever figured out? I am experiencing similar noises and unsure of what it may be! I use Royal as well as premium gas too. All plugs were replaced last October. I’ll have to look in to that dielectric grease though.I use royal purple I know there is better and some cheaper it works fine . I also run premium gas and stay away from discount brands the company blends make a difference. If it’s not the injector you might want to check your plug wires and coils sometime they leak outside the boots and the spark will cause the clicking noise . Dielectric grease used sparingly around the boot entrance usually will solve it .
