I'm considering getting the Icon Rear Hydraulic Bumpstop System, or the ADD version of this with King Bumpstops but I have some questions!

•Which one?
•Is anyone else running this on their rear end?
•is it worth $1889?
•Is there any maintenance I need to do regularly?
•How hard is the install?
•Is there a better Bumpstop System out there?

I'm also thinking about getting the TMX Bed Stabilizers.

•What is the purpose of them?
•Does it just prevent the bed sides bending?
•Is it worth it?
•How hard is the install?

You only bed the bed supports if you don't run your tailgate.

The bump stop requirement is because of your friendly ford designers, the rear bump stop has holes in the frame to allow removal, that has created a spot in the frame that can bend.

I would go with the RPG Offroad bump stop setup, they have done their homework to fully address the chassis flex. They also offer a 2.5" bump which will handle all the abuse you throw at it when you add your RPG 3.0 fox shock upgrade down the road!

Typical maintenance would be replacing seals and bump stop pads which can be done by lots of offroad shops and runs from 80-175 ea which you can expect bi yearly or sooner depending on use.

Can't beat 1499.99 plus install is just as simple as the competition.

Wow Thank You! That is way better and cheaper than the competitions products! And yes the Factory ones do suck! This will leave more money left over for new wheels and a 5 star to replace my ****** bullydog lame excuse for a programmer lol

The bed stabilizers are a great addition- they are needed with or without tailgate if you are a frequent offroader. you will see the gaps grow tailgate to bed. Icon or RPG bumpstop kits are the way to go IMO

Both of those are "must-do" mods if you plan on doing any offroading. RPG seems to have the best price unless you buy a used kit. I recommend both!

If you are planning on hitting large bumps at a high rate of speed it is recommended to get a aftermarket bump stop.
Really doesnt matter which one you go with.. I am using the Icon system because I like the frame tensioner Icon has and Icon has done loads of testing with this. And when you decide to add all 4 Icons 3.0 shocks to make your Raptor one badass MFer you will be one happy dude!!!

As for the Bed Stabilizers I would think that it wouldnt hurt any to have the extra support they add...
