This is quite common on a lot of brands and models of SUV's and trucks. Back when I was still able to physically work on vehicles, I replaced them in a good number of Chevy's and Fords. There are two main issues I have found with them. Either the mode actuator motor goes out and no longer has the oomph to actually keep the door open, or the hinge on the side of the door breaks and it is left flap flap flapping along. As stated, it isn't a "hard" fix, but it is very time consuming if it turns out that it is the upper actuator and not the lower. the part isn't that expensive, it is the labor that kills you at the dealership if it isn't still covered under warranty.
I do have to agree with Boss Hoss, I really like my Raptor, but it has the worst AC I have ever had in a truck. To the point I was actually wondering if something might be wrong with it until I began seeing so many others with the same complaint.
