I loved the sound of my GTR Exhaust, I wouldn't mind my raptor sounding like it..

Curious if a exhaust company will try and make one sound close to a GTR..

The GTR does sound amazing. However, I've never heard an EB engine sound similar. Probably the firing order

If you are patient...

The sound you don't want to hear is the sound of a cash register dinging to the tune of 10k, 15k, or more above MSRP.
It's not so much waiting as it is diligence at finding a dealership not gouging.

The money you save can buy the exhaust with the sweetest sound.

People give me shit for hating on the new Raptor because it has a v6. The v6 isn't exactly the problem. The problem is it's an AMERICAN V6. I have never heard a decent sounding V6 designed in the US. They all sound like ass. There are plenty of other V6 engines in the world that sound absolutely beautiful. Borla, Magnaflow, Corsa, MBRP, Flowmaster, Gibson and the others aren't going to make some dramatic change to the sound. Ford isn't stupid. They knew the truck was going to catch a container ship load of crap because of the V6. I am willing to bet that the factory exhaust is as good as it's ever going to sound.

When did MF go to 409 stainless? They used to pride themselves on using all 300 series stainless. Interesting that they are using a single muffler.

The factory uses a single muffler. Wonder if splitting into separate mufflers would improve the sound quality or performance, or make either of them worse?

I shot an email to CORSA to see if they had something in the work because I loved my Extreme exhaust I had on the 6.2. They said they are in R&D and are looking for a test mule in the Ohio area. They will receive a free exhaust for testing.
