Which engine would you choose in the 2017 raptor?

Look back. My dislike for the 6.2 boat anchor is well documented.

I stand corrected. Your vote had not yet posted.

I am not diametrically opposed to the EB V6TT. I had a TT V6 in a 300ZXTT that was an absolute bulletproof beast.

However, if they do a Voodoo TwinTurbo, I'm in.

My oldest son is saving his $$$, he wants the ecoboost raptor, doesn't want the v8, I think all of us that bought a raptor already are v8 horsepower people, the next generation want the tuner/v6 hp version. Like mentioned here already, the sales of the ecoboost engine are very popular, have friends who prefer that engine. I was brought up different, big motor, bigger motor, the biggest motor is better!

Yea... I have some ricer co-workers that talked about fast boosted subies and hondas. I told them I had a turbo Cobra (which none of them believed at first). One ride in my turbo V8 was all it took.... They all still talk about about going from 40 to 120 in seconds (in Mexico of course). I think Ford is going to come out with a great ecoboost v6..... I don't want it in a fullsize truck.

It's the same mentality all manufacturers are following these days. Who cares what the old guys like? Look at the Vette. Classic car turned video game. The big 3 are going after the yuppie crowd because they know that's where the money is going to be in 10 - 15 yrs. But really, how many fresh-out-of-schoolers are going to be able to afford these vehicles anyway? They gotta start sometime, and if your watching everyone else doing it, then your going to be last at the finish line.

I think when sales dwindle, they will come to their senses. Of course some of us will buy the new Raptor, because it's new. Others will stick with what they have and patiently wait for the engine they want to appear. Ford will realize this.

Have faith - we're not a government owned manufacturer - YET.......

I think there is a reason this truck was announced that much in advance.

I totally agree. That's why it's so important for us on these forums to voice our opinions. Keep the ball rolling.

You like balls rolling... all over your chin.

I thought the poll would be public. I would like to see how people voted on here.
