I am very happy with my magnaflow, zero drone and just a nice mellow growl until you put your foot to the floor.

I personally want to do the sw headers, coated with the lightning exhaust. That being said it is quite exspensive and a lot of work to put on the headers. Since I have other mods that I want to do first I put on the MBRP exhaust out the rear. It sounds great and there is not to much drone.

BTW. The drone is a resonance that is hit at a certain rpm range that is heard in the cab. On long drives it can get annoying, it all depends on the person. Personally it just gives me a reason to turn the radio up. :)

Oh yeah. One more thing. If you plan on doing some major offroading do yourself a favor and make sure the connections are welded.

I have a Corsa with a cutout. Best of both worlds. Open the cutout when I want to get nasty.

Great questions. The most wicked exhaust I've ever heard in person was a setup with Stainless Works headers and a Corsa catback exhaust. But according to my son who rode I that truck a good bit off road said that as wicked as it was at WOT, it had very little drone. Drone is the amount of low resonance sound while cruising. Cutouts are installed before the muffler (s) to bypass the muffler for a straight piped sound. You can open them when you want to hear the wicked sound and close them when you want or need to be more tame.

If you install only a catback, even with cutouts, you should not need tuning. But if you install headers you will need custom tuning to dial it in. Especially if you have to pass emissions in your state.

We are currently offering a sale on our exhaust systems. If you would like a no obligation quote, send me a private message here on the forum and I will be happy to help you nail down your upgrades whilr saving some money at the same time.

You would think so, but honestly, Luker's exhaust fell off completely at Havoc and Anderson's setup was actually louder than having no exhaust at all under wide open throttle...lol

Being the one refered to here... If you want ******* to drop when you get on the gas.... SW headers and a Corsa exhaust. Thing is one loud, raspy and dead sexy bitch.

Highway cruising, minimal/ no drone. AKA windows up I dont hear shit, touch the gas... you'll know it along with anyone by you. Get on it WOT and you'll probably have someone calling SWAT on your ass along with a line of women throwing their clothes at you... can be distracting when driving but after a while it won't phase you. Remote start sniping people will become a popular hobby of yours, setting off car alarms in parking garages is also possible but why are you WOT in a parking garage?

But in all seriousness though, I think what I am running is just what you are looking for. Loud as hell with a great sound when you want it, shuts the hell up when you don't want it. Think most of the people at Havoc can vouch for the exhaust.

Chris is right, my exhaust was gone after the resonator and Anderson's was way louder than mine. The truck has a good sound with just the resonator, but Anderson's was crazy loud.

I'd like to quiet mine down a bit, or at least change where it dumps, the lightening style is a bit loud for my taste on a scab. I'm hoping stainless works can get back to me about the behind the tire dump.

You wanna see what it sounds like with no cat backs, just get a 15mm socket and take the two bolts out and start it up

All i have as of now is a cutout after the resonator and tbh i dont think its that loud at all. It might be because im used to a 2012 5.0 with a loudmouth(muffler delete) and it was 5 times as loud easily. Maybe if you put a cutout before the resonator you would get more noise?

I just went with this option for now because it cost me $85 total installed.
