Hi .. I'm new to this awesome raptor forum .. I saw on YouTube someone removing this plastic part from the intake ..What is the use of it ? And does removing this part will increase flow which will increase horsepower ?

I think it will be the opposite, those are there to mix and increase the flow, something to do with how the turbulence is measured, etc, or I could be out in left field :)

These have been on all ecoboost f150s from beginning. Most owners remove them as they don't serve a purpose. You will get slightly louder turbo sound.

Hala @Ahmad6557

Mainly these parts are there to reduce noise
@CoronaRaptor some people claim the turbulent to laminar flow effect but from an engineering point of view they are too short and too early in the flow stream of the air to actually reduce the turbulent flow

The increase in flow is minimal, you wouldn't feel it at this power level

The Jeep YJ had this restrictor in the air box channel as well and I removed mine. Simply looking at the shape of these it appears they are there to 'spin' the air...

They call them silencer rings. I removed mine on my '15 eco and noticed a very slight turbo whistle increase, nothing like catless downpipes making these turbos sing though
