Plasti dip is awesome. An pretty tough stuff considering how easy it is to peel off. I had my hood on my ranger done for a few months last summer. Held up very well to rocks bugs sand and even hail.

An yes, for taped edges you gotta peel the tape off when it's still wet.

Nice clean edge that way.

Interesting idea. Might have to try it out. Still wish I'd bought a white truck. Black is hard to do things like this with.

give it a shot. Might as well. If you dont like it, you can peel it right off. Or even go with the pink hahaha....

Matte Black actually contrasts more than ya think it would with glittery tux black. Worked for my flares and bumpers. Maybe I'll try this on the hood

That's true. Big plus to the hood is protecting against rock chips. I already have a nice nick and she only has 4k miles on her.
