hey dan, been a while. hope all is well with you. im in a 2016 ecoboost right now as a loaner while my truck is getting fixed. its fast on the freeway, but if your worried about sound, this isnt or you.

Hey Noah! hope all is well in the new location... honestly as much as i love the sound of the V8 i think the better gas mileage will put a bigger smile on my face honestly... plus im not completely one sided as of yet since im not sure of the new price point and if the first gens will drop in price etc etc. a lot of different scenarios that will come into play over the next year... my goal is to first sell the house, save up for a few months and hopefully buy the truck in full... but if the new one is going to be north of $60K i'll definately be looking at getting a first gen only this time doing it right and getting a crew cab lol

Well geez... $50 over invoice? Any guys here take advantage of this? Buying from here at $50 over and asking them to ship maybe cheaper than buying from my local dealer ?!?!

I emailed them a couple weeks ago, this is the response I got

"Hi DROPOUT,

I received your email and will put you on my list. Not sure of the allocation yet, so that is also a deciding factor on how we can sell them. Back in 2014 and 2013 our allocation was through the roof and we were getting all orders placed. That allowed us to do our standard $50 Over Factory Invoice Pricing. This 2017 is uncertain as of now, but when we get the order bank open we will know for sure and I will reach out to you.

Holler at me with any questions."

Looks like they have no concrete info yet, and not sure when they will

Good Morning Ladies and Gents, i was a very active member a couple years back and had a 2010 SCAB with a bunch of upgrades but due to the family growing i ended up getting a more family friendly vehicle and have now decided to get a GEN 2 SCREW since the full 4 doors will work much better for a family of 4.

Look who's back! Welcome back Danactive! Good to see one of the "old timers."

You may want to check out GEN 2 FORD RAPTOR FORUM - you'll find it a much friendlier place to Gen2 posts and people.

Hey Dan! yep getting back in the game... hoping to buy within the next 6 months but I want to make sure I do my research and as of right now I feel myself leaning towards a 2012/13 as I will more than likely be trying to purchase the truck cash in full so I can avoid making payments etc. since the truck will be paid off I can deal with the gas mileage being 4-5 mpg less than the eco boost motor... im just hoping I can find one around $40-45K less than 50K miles once the new ones come out... as much as I know people with gen 1's are hoping they'll keep their value I think its inevitable to see a slight price drop which as of right now people (aka dealerships) are asking ungodly amounts of money for the trucks... I saw a handful of 2014's over $57K with 30K miles! that's pretty much a brand new truck price lol
