I think the teaser would be more than enough for me.

I bought one of these a few weeks back. Best $100 upgrade I’ve done to the truck!I think I may have to get one of these...exactly what I want. https://www.cjponyparts.com/autosto...stop-switch-assembly-f-150-2015-2019/p/AE001/ $100 though.
Sport mode doesn't "survive" after an engine restart either, though...so either way you're having to press a button (or in your case, press a button twice) to disable the ASS.I hate it too so I just put it in sport and drive it like I stole it. Problem solved
I have a 2018 802A and I live in Southern California. I personally hate the auto shut-off feature when coming to a stoplight. I always manually turn it off from the button on my dash. About 6 months ago, I took the truck into the dealer for some unrelated warranty work and when I got it back, there were some tell tale signs that the software had been updated. Cool! So I did some exploring through the system settings and discovered that I could permanently toggle off/disable the auto start feature. I was ecstatic! Well about 2 weeks ago I pulled up to a Starbucks and my Sync automatically joined the WiFi and performed an automatic update. I then noticed auto stop was happening again. I went back into the system and turned off this feature, but now every time I restart the truck, it reverts back to the default of auto stop on. GGGRRRRR!! I am pissed. Did anyone else experience this? Is there a work around (besides Forscan) that I am not aware of? I know this is a minor thing but it is just f*^king annoying.
