Anyone with Pillar lights have an issue at the car wash? Going from Gen2 to Gen3 and thinking of adding Pillar LEDs instead of behind the grill and belong to a car wash club. Went thru today and do not see anything that can hang up on them but looking for insight??

It's a rare carwash by me that fits the Raptor. I prefer hand wash places. That said, I've gone through with LP6 pillar lights without issue. One carwash, however, raised the horizontal brush that goes across car, windshield and roof so it was inoperable when I went through.

Our local carwash banned me from coming after my first try - long before my rear rack, etc. Apparently Raptors are the death of many auto car washes.

Being in Texas…I’ve never had an issue in any drive through car wash’s (if they banned raptors they’d lose like 30% of their business with all the HD trucks). The A pillar XL80s do kinda hinder the brushes a little, but nothing gets #*$&ed up.

Mine jumped the track. Held up the whole line. One of my Gen2s also suffered a big paint gouge on the leading edge of the hood. Won't risk that again. I'd rather drive it dirty. That's why I got white finally.

I have a set of LP4s on the pillars and have not had any issues - however my local car wash place is touchless, so nothing to catch or snag on them.

I have LP4’s on the pillar and I have used the local Metro washes in Idaho without damage or hassle 30-40 times. When I’m in Huntington Beach the only car wash I’ve found that will let me go through without removing the lights is a local hand wash. My assumption is they are worried about potential damage to the truck and getting sued?
