looks good!

we have a guy that comes by the dealership, but his is not 3m, but its great stuff.

It's called Ventureshield. I've done it on almost all my cars. Haven't done the truck yet, but that's because i'm not sure what i'm going to be doing as far as decals for racing

Actually now that you mention it I think thats what ours is....ventureshield.

If you're in the NJ region look up a guy by the name of "Reno", he's who did ours. My fiance just found him by googling it and reading a bunch of forums for high end cars, vettes, vipers, lambos, ferraris, porshes, etc., and Reno was the guy most recommended in this region. I'm definitely calling him back for my Raptor

Cool truck. Decals do look good. Much better than prior years. I like the hood graphic more and more but since I got Tux...makes little sense for mine.

The Dog has made his mark with the paw stating "this is MY back seat now dude".

I'd be driving all day today looking for a snow storm if I were you. I have not heard one owner talk about driving around his neighborhood @ 3am testing all the 4x4 settings, screen settings etc. Haha

I guess like most of us....I too would much rather be driving/drooling the first few weeks rather than just "learning". It is a great accomplishment to be a new owner of a 2012 Raptor in such hard world times. ROCK ON! :peace:

The hood graphics are sweet and all but mr.pork tell me, is the paint not showing anymore underneath like others established? If so I'm wondering if I can order the 2011 hood graphic instead because I thought that was way cool, anyone know?

I had a 3M Ventureshield and LineX done on my truck as soon as I got it. Didn't get any rock chips prior so it worked out great. No regrets. My only rock chip is a tiny one just behind the lower part of the passenger side fender flare, but your mudflaps should prevent that. Congrats on the new truck. I just saw my first flame blue Raptor in person yesterday and it looked great.

Great looking rig! I have a 2012 Screw as well with just the hood graphic. While there's no cutout the "Raptor" logo is glossed which makes it stand out from the matte finish that comprises the rest of the graphic. I heard someone suggest that by doing away with the cutout, it was less likely to peel up over time...not sure if that's valid or not as I haven't heard anyone complaining about the previous graphic design.

actually later reports said that the colored Raptor text on the 2011 trucks was actullly colored vinyl, not a cut-through. Which in that case, it's cheaper for ford to have ONE hood graphic with just the gloss black raptor text, than a hood graphic with colored text for every color Raptor.

What I want now though, is somebody to make a blue flame Raptor decal the exact size of the gloss black Raptor decal, so I can install that over my 2012 hood graphic to get the 2011 look.
