Yeah thanks, it's totally stock, and it just absolutely rips. I enjoy every second I'm in it.

I'm sure I overpaid on the warranties and protections and service plans (leather protection, ding repairs, total mechanical coverage, yada yada), but I have 2 boys, 4 and 6, and I don't want to be stressing out if they drop their yogurt and then spill a juicebox and all the normal things they do.

Now I can just relax (the whole point of buying the truck), and we can go have fun.
Then you didn't overpay. Peace of mind is a very very valuable thing.

Congrats!!

Congrats on the new truck and enjoy! I've got 2 kids 4 and 6 too and that optional coverage for the interior is one thing I think I'll probably get because kids will destroy a car!

Here in CO windshields are lucky to last a year without breaking on anything like this with an upright windshield so I go for the glass coverage too since insurance companies here mostly don't offer glass coverage. Since they "sand" the road with gravel in the winters I understand why!

Can I ask what the cost was on the 75,000 mile warranty. I'll be going through the same negotiations on Friday wanted to know what I can expect.

My dealer sold me a protection plan for the leather and paint for like 400$ but it covers everything even rips punctures stains .i got that and 7yr,warranty.

What was the paint protection called. Did it also cover door dings. BMW sold my wife a plan with cilajet coating. It was 1,000 and it covered the paint, interior, and door dings. She is having second thoughts now, haven't had it done yet. Jack

So the dealership is the one who put these packages together, it's not through ford - here's the breakdown:

84 month mechanical breakdown coverage - $1900
GAP - $499
Paint Sealant, Rust Proof, Undercoat, Interior Guard - $799
Dent Removal (unlimited), key replacement - $499
Maintenance (oil x, rotations, etc, 60months) - $1480

Like I said, I'm sure I overpaid, but then again, I don't have to do anything but drive the truck.

that 84 month breakdown coverage, is it through ford or an outside warranty company?

you got a good deal on the GAP. is it ford? or outside?
maintenance package is good, as long as its through ford as well.
the paint sealant/ rustproof/ dent and key stuff sounds a little high, but if you use it, it could pay for itself.
congrats man!
