Indeed it is. I’m up at the Los Alamos National Labs. Taos and the surrounding areas of Red River, Eagle Nest and Angel Fire are beautiful.

God's country! I live in South Fork, CO for 3 years. 40 miles west of Alamosa.
I’m pretty familiar with South Fork. I’ve spent my fair share of fly fishing the Rio. Creede and Lake City are are places I’ve visited when I’m in the area. My parents have a place in Conejos as you head north to Platoro Reservoir.

We were there from 99'-03'. Lost our brand new log home (one week from moving in) to the Million Fire in June of 02'. The entire state was on fire that year. Going to Raptor Assault next Spring and will take the family so we can do a proper 2-3 week trip around the state. Was married in Steamboat. Miss it for sure.
