Good luck -- hope you get it resolved quickly. I can only imagine how frustrating that must be after the wait. Glad to hear Friendly Ford is taking care of you. I've had one on order for them since October but still no build date. Out of curiosity when did you place an order with them?

I called them in August, money down in September. I was the third truck delivered at Friendly...you must be up soon. FWIW, I had no news, then VIN and built within one week, delivered ten days later.

Really Ford, your drunk, get off the Raptor line and sober up.

How this got past multiple levels of QC, eyeballs, Ford staff is unbelievable.

Dealer spotted it and is getting it worked out, good guys at Friendly Ford of Crosby Texas.

No matter, the truck is better than expectations so far.

On Ford's assembly line, each line has a "quota" to do for the shift.

If that number is "30", then when the line hits "30", the entire line is done working and gets paid for the shift.

My buddy who used to work on a line told me that sometimes the line would really bust it to get done or hit quota in like 4 hours instead of the normal shift time.

When this happens, the whole line goes home and gets paid for 8 hours.

Maybe the line had a big party to go to when your truck got built?

To be fair, that was fixed before being shipped, and we don’t know the context. Maybe they had no bead lock wheels left and had to get the truck off the line, or it got bollixed as it was being mounted.

I would be tempted to keep that, it is kinda cool. Especially if you have a dog with crazy eyes.

So what are they doing, what side is the correct side? Personally I would tell them to get the driver side to match the passenger side, that all white looks cool on a white truck.
