The projectors don't put out much light as halogens. I've been into Off Road Lighting for many years and what it comes down to for the best lighting is using the best reflector.

Sorry Mic,
Couldn't disagree with you more here. The reason for the lower light output is not because of the design, projectors are far superior in handling/controlling light than a reflector ever will be. Its actually because of the ****** projectors Recon/Chinese company that actually produces them, decided to use in those particular housings. Off road lighting and on-road low-beams are two completely different animals. Have you seen Ducati's retrofit he did on his Recons? If your not happy with the output, I would highly suggest checking it out and getting a decent projector in there. Not only will you gain the option of adding a bi-xenon setup, you will finally be able to utilize the full potential of the HIDs (if your running them). Believe me, it will be a night and day difference and worth every penny.

aaaaaaand I'm sure I'm not the first to say that your wife is a TROOPER! :waytogo:

CineSLR is Ducati's the same as SICK HIDs? I saw SICK's Lights on his "Cool YouTube Video" and they look really good on the video but in the real word who knows. I would have to see them perform. I am still searching for other projectors to compare. I really like the looks of mine and the way they perform now that I changed them all around. Thanks for the schooling me on the projectors, I must admit this is my first hands on experience with projectors. I have been converting Off Road Lights to HID's for over ten years now and I can tell you this. Name brand lights like Hella, PIAA, Cibie, and more are by far the best to convert - I have done hundreds or maybe thousands for many off road Baja race teams. If you take a crappy light and convert it to HID all you get is Crappy light that is a bit brighter. The reflector is everything. Also, the quality of the housing is key for taking abuse off road.

Oh thanks, she is more than a trooper, she really enjoys going to Baja, getting dirty and even driving my Rhino and catching some air.
