LOL $90 for the Proclip and the phone holder? No thanks, not when vent clips are $15.

I am with you, its a tough spend, until you buy one... I was cheaping out many options, finally broke down and spent money and bought a proclip and holder.. it worked so well, I now have them in my 2 other cars and wished I had them in all my cars.

Thank you all for your helpful suggestions. I was using that slot between the shifter and cup holder to hold it and it pretty well. I was wanting something for road trips. I was thinking maybe this one.

I like the RAM Mount setup with a suction cup off the windshield. it holds up even off roading.

I installed this mount - looks OEM . The mounting is solid but the phone holder is cheap plastic, soI purchased this charging holder that has a motorized clamp and replaced the cheap holder. Since it has charger built in, easily can run lons USB cord under tray to fuse box, etc.

Wish ford would place power/usb on/in the dash top center tray.
