How did that spring compressor work out for you? Just ordered one. Looks a little tweaked in the pic.

It actually worked out pretty good. It’s not tweaked, rather meant to work that way to follow the coil. I’ve used the standard in line compressors (up to four) on one spring and I would use this over those any day. This would obviously be beat out by the wall mounted hydraulic press but honestly it was well worth the money I paid for it. OTC makes good pullers etc which is why I bought this compressor. I think anytime you compress a spring there’s a small bit of pucker factor but I was definitely way more comfortable with this one.

Thanks man, what about the bottom shock bolt torque? I know its been discussed before but my Dewalt electric impact is rated to well over 400 ft lbs (or whatever the torque spec is) dont want to break anything.

I used my old air gun which is probably about 300ft lbs and then I put a cheater bar on it and tightened it by hand. I had to break it loose by hand as well.
