This is what some of the Wisconsin guys run for studs for winter ice racing. They're sharpened, 3/8" grade 8 bolts.

Watched it today. Good race. Did ya see what happened to everyone's fenders due to the studs. Shredded the fenders on impact. They'll know better for next years race.
