No you don't have to re-aim the lights on the 2nd perch. Maybe on the 3rd but the 2nd only raises it like 1.25".

I didn't have to re-aim my headlights or my hood mount lights. If I had gone to the top I probably would have though.

Have there been any cases of premature CV boot / joint failure associated with the perch mods? Either middle or top perch.
I recall a thread some time ago with pics of CV carnage, but do not remember if the carnage was caused by a perch mod.
I am 99% sure that my Raptor is going to have the mid perch mod done, just wondering about any possible side effects later on down the road.

With HID's I would recommend re-aiming the lights. After mid perch seemed like every car was flashing me.

I know one guy had his CV boots fail on the top perch. But there have not been any mass failures. There are guys with 40k+ miles on the top and no issues.

Ya he had the leveling kit, not perch, and ya it screwed up the front badly

Mid Perch in Alberta

Anyone here have the mid perch mod done at a dealer in Edmonton? Might just do it myself but don't have a lot of free time.

Sherwood Ford said they've done a few, and would cost ~$300 if i did it when i bought the truck....I declined..
