Perch collars 1.5 vs 2.25

I’m currently looking to do perch collars with 37’s. I like the look of the 2.25 but don’t want to sacrifice a lot of ride quality if any….. anyone have experience with the 2.25 collars?

I have a Icon 2.25 on my 19 , don’t really notice a difference . I think when I get my 22 I will go 1.5 on it . My 19 sits a little higher on the front and I don’t love that look .

I had 2 1/4 on my 18, 1.5 on my 21. Like 1.5 more for the Gen 3.

Why do you like the 1.5 “more” for the gen 3?

You need to measure how much rake you have, and then decide on what size collar will look best on your truck. Not all trucks sit the same. I always like to put a few hundred miles on them to let the suspension settle before I measure as well.

Less rake. My Gen 2 needed 2.25 to level, the Gen 3 only needed 1.5. The truck will get stiffer with larger collars-not necessarily in the best way IMO.

Stupid question, do you lose travel when you put the collars on? Especially the 2.25. The reason I’m interested in the 2.25 is I kind of like the look of a slight rake, but not to much.
