Well worth the money. Almost infinite customization, easy to set up and install. No worries about voiding your warranty either

I'm not sure about that, I mean I'm dying to get a tune myself but it does make it easier for Ford to deny a claim and if they did you'd have a good fight on your hands.

I have the PESP - 125,xxxx or 8 years but I really want a tune and am researching the all the various tuners because reliability is my top concern.

And you get the added benefit of voiding your warranty for the drivetrain so there’s that.

That is your opinion, and I will not hijack this thread to discuss something that has already been beaten to death in this forum.

This is maddening. It isn’t opinion.

I spent 15 years working for Ford. My best friend owns a Ford dealership in N.C. My father in law owns two. One in Ohio and one in Pa.

If you have a driveline claim, you might get lucky and have a dealer not make a fuss about it. If that happens then it’s just that, luck.

How anyone could even try to argue otherwise is beyond me. It’s either stupidity or ignorance.

Spot on. On top of that, if the Dealership happens to side with you on a repair involving a modded vehicle, and then submits to FOMOCO, and FOMOCO has OASIS showing the vehicle has been enhanced ie. modded, guess what? That Dealership gets to "eat" the repair. Not many Dealerships will take that chance. Sure there are quite a few wtty items that would not involve the "mod" picture. But on the powertrain side. That's a different story. Plus it does not matter what the aftermarket providers state. They are not going to go to court with you when YOU have to prove it was not the "mod" that cause the problem. All Ford has to state is it was said "mod" that contributed to the failure. It's up to the customer to prove them wrong. I know I sure do not have the time or resources or energy to engage Corporate Ford in that type litigation.

FYI, Whipple now offers a stage 1 kit for the Raptor that is CARB legal. Ford dealer by me will install it too. NO warranty void. New airbox, cooler, tuner, regap the spark plugs.
