Success !!! Since I've been asked to come to work on both Xmas eve and Xmas day, she felt bad for me so I used that moment to ask to open my Pedal Commander and she agreed !!!! YES !!!

Install.......here I come.

Congrats but this sounds a lot like pity sex.....but I understand, you take it whenever you can regardless.....and always thankful.

Just installed my Pedal Commander. Holy hell, the difference in Off Road Mode alone makes it worth it. The 1:1 pedal/throttle ratio in ORM makes the pedal feel dead after driving around in regular mode. I had a chance to run some rough roads near a railyard, the bouncing around seems to keep the power on even with your foot moving around.

Ok, my turn to chime in on this.......

The install was easy, a few minutes reaching under the left side lower dash and up above the pedals. Then 2 clicks and wahla.....install done.

Then drilled the little clip holder using 2 flush mount screws to the dash, easy peasy.

Then got my keys and started her up. Little did I know just how much fun I was in for.

Started on side streets and drove towards the main street to get to the freeway. Had it set on city +1. Noticed good pick up from stock. Got to my first intersection and moved it to city +4, not remembering to watch my heavy foot. Well, that did it. The light changed to green and I pressed the pedal like I always do and it acted like it wanted to be first off the line. Got closer to the freeway on ramp and made a turn to get on it. I moved the settings to Sport +2 and OMG!!! It acted like I just shot it in the butt. I was at speed in nothing flat. I swear! So back down a few notches for a bit.

Got on the freeway and found some open space with an open lane in front of me and then reached down to move it up even more and the response was instantaneous. WOW!!

Got off the freeway and was reveling at just how this beast has awakened. The light changed and when I stepped on the pedal, the truck lunged forward and barked the rear tires. I had to let off for a sec to remind myself of what setting I was at back on the freeway, then dialed it back to city +4 setting.

yes, it looks like I'm going to have to retrain my foot to ease into the pedal a bit better but its all definitely well worth it.

Many thanks to Jeff (SVC) for the great service and Pedal Commander for the wonderful product. Its too bad Ford didn't come with this feature on Raptors, my guess is that they might have sold many more of them. Oh well.

And for anyone still reading these posts and still on the fence about getting one of these, I will also join the masses here and say to just do it!!! No, I haven't been paid by anyone to say this, just thought I'd share with the group.

Cheers

I need to install this thing! It's been sitting in my office for about a week. Will not drive the truck in the winter, so not in a huge rush to install in sub 20 degree weather. I am being a ****, but whatcha gonna do?!?!

The install literally can be done in much less than 5min. Why would you deprive yourself from all the fun that this provides? Consider this a kick in the ass to go outside and plug the dam thing in!!!!

I'd like to hear your thoughts on how it does in inclement weather using Eco mode -2 to see if it helps keep tires from spinning. I may never need to do that here though. So here's your second kick in the rear!!

I drove on snow packed roads today with it on City +3 (my usual setting) and didn't feel the need to bump it down, but I'm also the guy who disables TC in the driveway on snowy days since I prefer to feel the tires spin and back off the throttle instead of having the truck do it for me.

I think Eco mode would assist in reduction of spinning on black ice, but what's the fun in that?

I'm anxiously awaiting the delivery and hoping I'm in the batch that went out the other day. I should probably schedule some driving time with it before Snoball. It should be fun in the ice up there.
