This is what happens when you don't follow a thread! I saw them on sale at the website so I ordered direct. I would have rather given my money to @svc. Oh well, next time. Those guys need to make a living too.

I figure for ~$300 its worth a shot. I like the idea of being in control of the pedal a bit more. Honestly I never even thought about my new truck being drive-by-wire until I swapped out the TB. I think Ford got the feel of the pedal down pretty well but don't always agree with where my foot is and where the engine should be.

Why not just build your tune with custom throttle position built in.... seems silly to waste an extra $300 for something you can do with a tuner already?

It would be too hard to please the masses. Too much and you get the group "truck wants to drive through the car in front of it" and to little people want it snappier. This let's you fine tune to your liking as well as increase or decrease on demand, scenario depending. It also over rides in ORM .

The thing is pretty awesome I've been running it for a few days now. I daily drive my truck lately a combo of city and highway and I like to whale on it sometimes so sport mode is where I keep it, a lot of fun but being in the pedal that much too I say it seems a little hard on the transmission. Always making big jumps looking for more gear. This weekend I plan on trying ORM on a 5 mile beach cut looking forward to that!
