Now that I have a build date and an approximate of when I'll get my new Raptor I'm starting to think of logistics. Mainly the fact this thing won't fit in my garage, and I'm wondering my best plan of action to keep it from getting stolen. I've looked into alarms, kill switches, VIN etching, etc. but at the end of the day if shit bag car thieves want it, all it takes is a tow truck and bam, it's cruising around in Mexico. So for those of you unable to park in a locked garage what do you guys do?

Full coverage insurance with replacement value on the truck. IE: Someone steals it, I get at least what I paid for it or they find one with comparable options and mileage of the same year or newer.

Clarification edit: I have double insurance on my truck. I have the normal insurance through Allstate then I have collectors coverage through Grundy. The replacement value is through Grundy with my cars. It costs me an extra 300 a year for the peace of mind.

Before I ordered my Raptor I did some measuring in the garage. Oops. The garage itself was just big enough, but there was too much stuff IN the garage. I did a little, um, redecorating and was sure it would fit. When I brought it home, it was a major PFI (Pucker Factor Incident) but it fit. Barely. I decided to take the table saw out of the garage and put it elsewhere, and now it's not a PFI every time I park it in the garage. Maybe you could do a little redecorating in your garage to make it fit???

I guess it depends where you live. Mine won't be able to go in the garage (when it gets here) so it'll just be in the driveway. Nothing I can do about it. Just have good insurance.

My 2010 was stolen while on a hunting trip in Canada. My insurance company was great. Ravelco device is supposed to be good.

I have tried to contact tgem several times about installing it on my 2012. They have yet to return an email or phone call.. It is a shame..

Mine is parked outside. But.... I don't live in a city. My driveway is over 1/3 mile long. It sits under a bright sodium light. And if I see someone snooping around, many large guns are close
