Parking Brake

Hey folks

So now that I've spent more hours with the truck, I've begun to run into some if its quirks.

Any else notice that the parking brake some times does not engage even when you press the pedal all the way down? I've had to move the truck into neutral and let off the brake in order to get it to lock. Was wondering if I was doing something operationally incorrect.

mine definitely needs to be pushed more than half way to break. noticed it this evening as I park on a slope on my drive way. It does grab if I push all way down, but does seem on the extreme side to lock up imo.

I tried putting it in neutral, then locking it before putting the transmission into park. That seems to work every time and relieves the transmission of all the stress.
