so is this something that the dealer can update on my 2011 with nav/sync when i bring it in for free schedule service . Or is there a software update for my model?

if you have not already done so set up a free account at "sync my ride". All you need is the vin.

There is a section on updates. The website is fairly useful.

There is also an app. For your smartphone that lets you communicate with sync directly via the app. I use the apps to link with google maps and send locations directly to sync.

Just play with it!

Has anyone got this working right with Pandora? It looks good if I use a cable, but I don't seem to see "Pandora" when just using Blue Tooth. I can get it to play via Blue Tooth, but it isn't using the app, doesn't display song info, or other Pandora stuff like channels.

Might check to make sure it is the latest version of pandora. I am able to get it to work with bluetooth on my galaxy s. The only problem I have is the damn buffering when it first starts.

Yeah, it's the most up to date. Works fine with a USB cable. I'm going to go mess with it some more. The Sync lady is kinda feisty.

I'm using an iPhone 4.

So, this is starting to bug me. Does anyone have Pandora working with sync via bluetooth on an iPhone4 as a mobile app? NOT plugged in with a cable and NOT simply as a bluetooth streaming device?
