Pancake compressor?

Has anyone tried powering a pancake compressor with the 400W outlet in the truck? I can find them that are right under 400W, but I am wondering if the outlet could handle the inrush current. I am thinking about this for a cheaper alternative to air back up after off-roading.

If you can wait a few extra minutes to air up, I’d do a Milwaukee or dewalt 20v inflator and plug the charger into the 400w. Less weight, less room, less hassle.

My buddy uses the cheap HF pancake compressor with his TACO 400w inverter.

I have the Milwaukee 12v inflater. It’s not the fastest but it works great.

I went with the in between option...bought the Viair 400p with the automatic shutoff and the hoses to deflate and inflate all 4 tires at once. Very happy with my setup so far. Doesn't break the bank like an ARB setup, but faster and longer cycle times than smaller compressors. Sometimes we have people in the group that don't have their own setups, so nice to have pretty much unlimited air.
