The rear door grills match the interior color already. I guess Ford didn't want anyone to miss where the front speakers were located.

Ha way too easy. I took like 5 seconds to pop each of them off. 5 more seconds to get the Sony thing off. They are painted and drying now... Thanks for the info and tips!!

Oh good now I don't have to go into the rain and check the rear speaker grills haha thanks. Yea I'm really surprised more people haven't done this it's probably one of the easiest things I've done to my raptor besides putting a stuby on :peace:
I'm a big fan of these quick little things that make the raptor look a little better!

This is great! Thanks for the how to! I have owned Ford all my life but the Raptor seems like Ford cheaped out...got lazy. The chrome shifter and cup holder trim, the chrome rear badge, the silver grill covers, lack of rear arm rest on the screw rear seat. Stupid things...but hey its a Raptor! Little do it yourself things like this help correct things.

@pat'sRAPTOR how have the painted speaker grills help up for you? Seems like its been almost 2 years since you did it. Does the paint flake off at all? Have you had to touch it up every now and then?

Looks good. I need to do mine to match the rest of the interior. I previously painted interior panels satin black with SEM color coat but haven't had time to get to the grills. That's the greatest interior paint you can find.

By the way, F150 door panels are about the easiest I have ever removed. Had them out previously to replace the speakers. You can have them out in 5 minutes. All bolts, no clips. It's simple to get the grills out at that point without beading/breaking anything. Those grills are rattle traps with how loose they're in there. I used some foam to make them tight. No rattles.

Wow I cant believe I missed this. I want to paint mine too. Can the speaker be easily replaced with just the grille out?

Yea so far they're holding up great no chipping or flaking.

Is pretty easy to pop out the grill or you can take of the panel with 4 bolts and just pull up on the door panel and there ya go!
