I added a little something to the driver's side wheel well. :peace:

I also blacked out the side mirror reflectors with the plasti dip.

I have to say, that stuff is super easy to work with. I hope it lasts!

keep us updated on how it last. i was thinking of doing the same

I'm really curious if the plasti dip lasts. Seems like the easiest, non-permanent, way to do it.

When I had the Night Raptor undercoated they did the wheels wells. It's a hard coating like a bed liner. Even that has chipped of in areas after wheeling. The place that applied it said it would last. I card when it started to show wear, and they said it was covered under the warranty and to bring it back in for them to recover. It was a pain fit something I thought was going to last.

Anyway, I don't think plastidip would last very long. Besides, if you know you want to black it out, why not do what the OP did or linex it?

I will be doing the same as the OP for RW's truck someone this summer.

Yeah, I probably should have used something more permanent. Oh well, I'll see how long it lasts and probably end up taking it off after a while, then I'll reapply with a more permanent solution.

How did you add the Molon Labe letters/logo?

I just purchased a sheet of letters/numbers from Hobby Lobby and stuck them on the fender prior to spraying. All I did was spray right over them.

Prior to painting...
