Painted grill!!!

so i got bored today and decided to paint my grill letters!
pretty simple process really just took me about an hour or so to tape off everything haha here are some pics of the process..

its almost the exact color my wife's ford fiesta is but it doesn't have the metal flake in it and i used a flat clear coat. i think it turned out ok for a DIY job.

i had planned on painting the whole grill flat black before taping it off and painting the letters but i kinda forgot and got half way through taping off the letters before i realized haha i didnt want to take all the tape off it took way to long to get that far so it stayed the grey color

thanks! yea it turned out better than i expected actually haha i also took the ugly ass chrome plated molding from the cup holder and shifter and painted those flat black and once i figure out how to take the shifter off im painting that shit too i think the cheap FAKE chrome they put in the raptor is terrible!

I'll put pics up of those when theyre done drying and in the truck!

Haha well in didn't have any newspaper all I had was a bunch of shop rags so I said **** it tape will work haha..

Ill get a day time shot! It's really pops against the black plus it matches the monster stickers I have on my back window!
